New packaging film for “grab & go” presented at Anuga

At this year’s Anuga, CFS presented the newly-developed packaging film TPR Premium for the first time. This barrier film is especially suitable for “grab & go“- applications.

The CFS product range of barrier packaging films for food has a new member:
at the Anuga in Cologne CFS successfully launched TPR Premium, a flexible film with EVOH barrier and a polyolefin structure. The new film is transparent and printable. TPR Premium can be processed on thermoformers as well as horizontal flowpackers. “Currently there is a strong demand for fresh packs in the market that combine the benefits of an industrial packaging but still have a “traditional” appearance. With TPR Premium CFS offers another high quality film for this market trend”, says Mathias Hunfeld, Area Customer Manager at CFS.

TPR Premium features all the advantages of an industrial packaging such as long shelf life of the product, barrier properties and mass production on packaging machines. But still the packaging creates the image that the product has just been freshly packed behind the counter thanks to its paperlook. TPR Premium was especially developed for “grab & go” applications and is ideal for sliced cheese and sausage as well as portion packs.
