• Lead and execute purchase projects with productivity and quality improvements targets.
• Focus on world wide suppliers-base (Global Benchmarking); identify market price development and define appropriate strategy/tactics.
• Lead the supplier selections processes.
• Negotiating and managaging of contracts/suppliers agreements to achieve the defined costs improvement targets.
• Control contacts, quality and delivery times and if necessary take actions to improve.
• Communicate efficiently on different function levels: e.g. contacting and selecting suppliers in cooperation with other functions (engineering, logistics...).
• Develop plans with the suppliers to improve the business relationship on a tactical and strategic level.
• Support the introduction production process at the suppliers to serial ramp up.

• Education: HBO or University level with economical or technical background.
• 1 - 2 years of working experience in Industry.
• Pro-active with a positive attitude for change.
• Flexibility to move, in case to be relocated.
• A teamplayer with commercial skills (strong in argumentation).
• A technical background is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language written and spoken, knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
